Forged from high-strength, lightweight structural aluminum, these heavy-duty D-rungs feature a deep-grooved, slip-resistant traction surface. Unlike standard factory rungs which are swaged into the side rails permanently, the 23-5 repair modules are engineered with heavy-walled internal mounting collars. They allow certified fleet maintenance mechanics to securely bolt the replacement step directly into the existing fiberglass side-rail channels using high-tensile fasteners—fully restoring the ladder's original structural integrity.
